Tucked into historic West Adams, Wellington Square is one of Los Angeles's most photogenic — and most film-friendly — neighborhoods. A century of careful stewardship has left our tree-lined streets lined with intact Craftsman bungalows, Spanish Revival cottages, and grand Victorian four-squares, many with original woodwork, leaded glass, and deep front porches that read beautifully on camera.
As a designated Historic Preservation Overlay Zone (HPOZ), the architecture here is authentic period detail, not a backlot facade — and our blocks are quiet, walkable, and close to the studios. Productions of every size, from indie features to network episodics and stills shoots, have found exactly the look they needed within a few blocks.
We welcome thoughtful productions and ask only that crews work with our Film Liaison to coordinate notice, parking, and neighbor concerns so every shoot is a good experience for residents and crews alike. (Note: this is sample placeholder copy and can be edited from the admin Filming editor.)
Productions that shoot here are invited to support Wellington Square's beautification, safety, and community efforts — the very things that keep these blocks camera-ready. A film donation goes directly back into the neighborhood. Productions often prefer to pay by ACH or check; reach out to our Film Liaison to arrange it.
